GARETH GIBONEY

I joined the Mercedes-Benz Club back in 2009 and spent many years enjoying the drives and events organised by the Northern Ireland Region. Through the Club I have met and become good friends with many people and a small group of us have had the pleasure to visit The Techno Classica Show in Essen, The Sindlefingen plant as well as AMG in Affalterbach, Germany and I remember these trips with great affection to this day. An opportunity to become a Regional Officer presented itself in 2014 and I have enjoyed immensely the organising of events and drives including dinners and weekend runs to other Irish regions in my roll as the RO for Northern Ireland. In January 2016 I was asked to join a small Social Media team and grow the Club’s Instagram page. Going from strength to strength the Club now has Instagram, Facebook and Twitter profiles with many avid followers allowing people to see the pleasure in being a member of the Mercedes-Benz Club.
