TIM SHAMBROOK

Health & Safety Officer

I’ve had a love of cars from my childhood and bought my first car when I was 16! Currently, I’m on my 43rd and I’m not a dealer either. I first joined the Club in 2001 when I bought my first Mercedes, a C123 230CE. I didn’t get involved with the Club then sadly and left when I sold the car 3 years later. I rejoined again in 2011 when I was looking for another Merc. I bought a R129 SL320. I’m now on my 5th Merc and am currently the proud owner of Clive Henderson’s C215 CL55 AMG. I’ve been an active member ever since, holding roles as joint RO for Yorkshire South and MRC for the mighty W140. I’ve run many local events and a couple of national events for the 140’s. For the last 4 or 5 years I’ve taken on the role of the Club’s Health and Safety Officer. I’ve recently retired from the Health and Safety Executive so I do have some experience which I’m happy to share. A range of Risk Assessments are available on the website which cover the majority of our events and there several guidance notes to help you too. If you need any further advice or assistance, then please email me. I seem to be busier than ever now I’ve retired but I’ll endeavour to get back to you as I can.
