My love for all things automotive started at an early age when I would play with corgi toys on a mat & now 50 years on I'm still playing with cars and my enthusiasm for cars hasn't waned! I joined the Club a little over ten years ago and took on the role of Regional Officer three and a half years ago with the view of making the Club more accessible to all owners of Mercedes-Benz from the inexpensive starter cars to concourse level cars, from vintage to brand new models because we all share a common passion for the brand. The North West Region hold various events throughout the season with our Main events at Tatton Park and Capesthorne Hall both attracting large attendances. We also have a Residency at Tabley House just outside Knutsford and usually have three visits there a year - it is well received by all attendees. I currently have a W124 E Class saloon that I have owned for five years, with a similar E Class prior to this for 6 years. I've also have had a couple of 190's and just recently sold a CLK AMG. Our normal form of communication is via email however if you don't have access just let me know, you can also contact me by phone and if I'm not available just leave a message. Our monthly pub meets are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at the Deanwater Hotel Wilmslow Rd, Woodford Stockport SK7 1RJ. We also have a second pub meet over in Liverpool & all members are welcome to attend. The address is The Childe of Hale Pub, 6 Church End, Hale Village, Liverpool L24 4AX. Both venues have a different feel to them with the Deanwater Hotel being our main pub meet that usually attracts 45 members & the Childe of Hale Pub has a smaller attendance of 15 on average. So, to sum up, the North West Region offers a great deal to all its members and do try to come along to one of our Events or to one of our social pub meets and If you've ever considered exhibiting your 'pride and joy' then I strongly recommend you giving it a go, you might even enjoy it!
