Nick & Judy Ballanger

We are Nick and Judy Ballanger, the Regional Officers for the Isle of Wight (IW). We have been Club members since 1999 when we purchased from new our beloved SLK230 which was Judy’s dream car then for which we had to wait two years from launch and order. We moved to IW in 2014 and set up IW as a separate region soon after. We already had a few Club member friends whom we met up with anyway and so it was easy to become official. As well as our SLK230 we have an R172 SLK55 and an electric Smart EQ Cabriolet which we have had since July 2020, our 4th Smart 4/2. We hold monthly pub meetings and aim to hold another event each month be it a mid-week lunch, IW museum visit, participation in a local car show or a visit to a place of interest on IW such as the Spitfire restoration facility or the RNLI RIB building and refurbishment centre. Being such a small region, isolated by water, we aim to keep events local and friendly but we always welcome visiting Club members and are happy to try and organise some form of meeting to tie in with travel plans of any visitors.
