RED MACKINNON

Living in north London for 36 years, Red has been both a Mercedes-Benz club member, and the CLK Model Register Captain since 2007. His first Mercedes-Benz was a V6 W202 C240 saloon, later moving on to a W208 CLK 320 cabriolet which he owned for 6 years. During that time he greatly expanded member interest in this model within the club by organising both CLK drives & rallies together with other specific CLK events around the UK and abroad which helped build up a strong CLK following which is still there today. His current car is an obsidian black W209 CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet in which Red has travelled all over Europe during the past 7 years of ownership. He has also competed in a 'Land's End to John O'Groats CLK rally', featured in car magazines and displayed his CLK at the NEC in Birmingham. Red has a good knowledge of both the 208 & 209 CLK model variants which he has obtained through both practical experience and learning over the years and is always available to help CLK owners or potential purchasers with any questions that they may have.
