Just ten minutes from the centre of Bath lies a collection of American stories, textiles, decorative art and design, acres of wildlife-friendly gardens and a deli with spectacular valley views over Limpley Stoke.
We visited last year and found a fascinating collection of American art, history and memorabilia. High on a hillside on Claverton Down the museum and its grounds are a wonderful setting. We shall have a guided tour including any current exhibitions and, having done that will have lunch together in the Deli. Please note, the deli is cash free so you will need a card to cover anything beyond our light lunch.
The museum has a grand facade by which we are invited to park our cars for other visitors to enjoy before joining our guided tour of the collection.
After lunch you are free to enjoy the grounds or, if you prefer to head off down the hill and spend the afternoon in Bath.
