Our Seasonal closing Sunday lunch

This year we are closing our season 2026 events with a visit to our ever popular Seamarge Hotel at Overstrand for a Sunday lunch on the 11th October.

We will be meeting at the hotel at 12:30pm for pre drinks in the bar. The meal will be their carvery and we will again have the use of the Winston Churchill dining room. We have booked the meal for 13:00pm. For those members who don’t know the colourful history of the hotel, it’s where on occasions during WW2 he visited for rest and relaxation. The dining room is the room he used to take a break, eat and relax.

If have any special dietary requirements, please email me or send me a message via the ‘ message event organiser’ facility below and I will liaise with the hotel team. They can also offer fish and vegetarian options.

The Seamarge has traditionally been our spring season opener, but this year we have our visit to Blickling Hall as our opener. The team at the hotel welcome us, give us concessions on our arrangements and are very happy to see us returning. It’s a lovely, atmospheric old school hotel, which has always been a popular venue with our members, with over 30 as our usual attendance number. Not to miss out, we decided to put it into our diary for an October visit to round off our season with an Autumnal get together. We are sneaking this event in before the dreaded official end of British summer time! Enjoy the last few days!! Friends attending with members are always welcome at our events.
