We will meet at The Angel, St Mary’s Square, Kelvedon, Colchester CO5 9AN, for breakfast with the South East Lotus Owners Club (SELOC). Arrival 9am to about 9:30
Ideally, our cars should be pre-2005, but don’t worry, please come in any car, any make, any model.

We will then drive to Layer Marney Tower, Nr Colchester, Essex CO5 9US. Parking is in front of the historic tower, arriving between 11am and midday. We will operate two routes: a short direct route, taking around 15 minutes, led by David Page MBC. Or a longer route on B-roads, exploring the Essex countryside led by John Murphy SELOC.
On arrival at Layer Marney Tower, our group entry tickets, will allow access to explore the historic tower, church and gardens. On site is a café where you can purchase food and refreshments. We hope you enjoy your day and leave when you’re ready to do so. The Tower closes at 5pm.

Entry to The Angel car park is from the B1024 and is all around the pub building with a one way system running anti-clockwise as you drive in. When we visit Layer Marney Tower, if you wish to visit the top of the tower, there are many steps to climb! Wonderful view though!
