As club members you will have read in the many Cumbria newsletters and Gazette regional reports about the relationship Cumbria Region has with the Mercedes dealership of Carlisle; and what they offer club members in the form of friendliness, of the staff and teams there, to the special discounts and complimentary MOT’s they offer when we book our vehicles in for work.

Well, that relationship is now extending to a special invite to club members to attend a “Cars and Coffee” event being held at the dealership on 10th/October/2026 from 10.00am to 13.00pm. This is a free to attend event with teas/coffees and probably some nibbles throughout the event which is arranged for the dealership showroom to be given over to display current AMG models and a few luxury models, as it is also an exclusive opportunity to see and look around the new S Class model too.

There will be a designated parking area close to the showroom that will be given over specifically for club members to park and display their pride and joy 3-pointed stars. This is also an opportunity for members of the public who attend the showroom to see the range and ages of Mercedes cars that club members have and to have discussions with members about our cars and the benefits of club membership.

This is a great open invite for club members to come and see the latest AMG models and the new S class model and for us to talk with staff about the display cars, or our own cars, or what ever else is on our mind about looking after our Mercedes. But it is also an opportunity to promote the benefits of club membership to members of the public when they see the range of cars we have and for us to engage with the public on our membership benefits and on the benefits of the relationship that we have with MB Carlisle.

You can come early before the event opens up at 10.00am or you can arrive and leave on your own schedule – whatever suits you.
