Join us for a self-drive long-weekend tour of the Isle of Man!
We’ll be taking the ferry to Douglas on the Friday morning, and return on the Monday afternoon sailing. Accommodation will be in the 4 star Comis Golf Hotel, with dinner, bed and breakfast included, apart from dinner on the Saturday evening which we’ll have at ‘Enzo’s’ Italian restaurant in town. And to make the tour a memorable friendly and sociable occasion we’ll be seated together for all 3 dinners.
Tour highlights: visit to the Manx Classic Car Museum, to include a tour of the workshop, a drive around the TT course led by a local owner of a classic Mercedes-Benz, 2 rides on heritage railway lines including to the summit of Snaefell, lunches in scenic cafes, visits to the Laxey Wheel and Castle Rushen, and some driving on great roads!
Costs will be dealt with in 4 parts, but only after your place is confirmed:
Ferry – book and pay yourself online, currently £285 return for a car and 2 people.
Hotel (including room, 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners for 2 people)– book and pay yourself using the code I’ve agreed with the hotel, for £617.
Enzos diner including taxis/heritage railway tickets/entry to 2 attractions – pay The MBC in advance by selecting the correct ticket on this page and clicking Book Now, payment will then be taken. This will be £145.75 per person if you are a member of the National Trust or £167.55 if you are not
Other costs such as fuel, lunches at the cafes, drinks at diner – pay as you go.
