We are delighted to announce that Gareth Giboney has agreed to cover this role on an interim basis. Gareth has helped us before with this role and he will keep our Social Media channels “topped up” with fresh content as often as he can.
To help him, Gareth asks if event organisers would please include a picture or two and a description in Event Reports into which he will automatically be copied.
Gareth says…
I joined the club many years ago when looking for a particular Mercedes-Benz and found the help available from club officials invaluable. Since then, I have owned more than ten Mercedes some new and some modern classics.
Over the years my family and I have enjoyed many events in particular ones involving driving our cars. This spurred me on to become a regional officer and help run the very successful Northern Ireland region.
As well as enjoying driving cars I also like to photograph them, this led me to the role of social media co-ordinator allowing me to combine these two passions to promote the club.
Most importantly we have met half a dozen people through our membership, these have become lifelong friends.
