Please join us for a road run and lunch, to celebrate the festive season and reflect back on an exciting year for the Scotland South region.
The plan is to meet at The Riverside Transport Museum in Glasgow (G3 8RS) at 09:30 for coffee and a look around the Museum. From cars, to trams, motorcycles to locomotives and even re-created shops and houses from days gone by, the Riverside Museum is a fascinating visit for everyone to enjoy.
After this, we will drive to the Popinjay restaurant in Carluke where lunch is booked for 13:00. A menu for this is available, so if you wish to attend, please book yourself onto the event and drop me an email, so that I can forward on the relevant information.
Once we have had a nice lunch and had a chance to catch up, we will take a more scenic route down to the finish point in Moffat. Once again, Club member James Rehill has kindly offered to help finalise the route with his extensive knowledge of the roads within that region. This final route plan will be announced closer to the date.
The entry for this event is free but please remember and book the number of tickets based on yourself and any passengers who will be joining you. It is crucial that you book on prior to the 20th of November, so that final numbers can be given to the restaurant.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Martyn and Olga.
