Hook Norton Brewery Tour, near Banbury, oxfordshire, Sunday 22 June 2025

We will be taking a tour of the Hook Norton Brewery starting at 11:00 with a tour time of circa 1.5 hours followed by a tutored tasting opportunity in their cellar bar.

Our guide will take us up, down and around the 5-storey Victorian Tower Brewery where we will experience the sights, sounds and smells of brewing at Hook Norton Brewery. We will learn about the history of the brewery; we will see their original steam engine and how their range of beers are made today.

Numbers are restricted to ten people for the tour which is not suitable for people with walking difficulties or children under the age of 12 (this includes babes in arms) as there are many steep stairs to negotiate.

One of the incidental joys (or possibly the highlight?) of a Hook Norton Brewery tour is being able to see the brewery’s three Shire horses, Brigadier, Balmoral and Cromwell in their purpose built onsite stables.
