Spring drive out and Sunday lunch

Sunday 13th of April will be our first Regional meeting and Spring drive out for 2025. Sunday morning from about 10:00 am should see us meeting at ‘The Boathouse’ on Ormsby Broad for morning teas/coffees and a get together. Mike the landlord is very helpful to us and is looking forward to seeing us return for this event. We had a great turnout last year and everybody agreed it was a perfect location. Arrival time is up to you. We have two hours there to meet up and chat, before moving on at or before 12pm sharp. Leave anytime and take your own scenic run to Overstrand. The next stop to enjoy their Sunday carvery will be ‘The Seamarge’ at Overstrand. We have repeated this event, by popular request. It’s been one of our best attended events in the calendar. Please book early for this, as numbers are limited by the Seamarge.

We will be dining in the atmospheric Winston Churchill dining room, with great views across their gardens and out to sea. Previous attendees, will know that this fabulous ‘Old School’ hotel is where Winston visited during WW2, to think, plan and take R&R.

We have brought the date forward this year to get everybody together earlier in the season. If you haven’t got a lovely Mercedes available for this event, you are very welcome to attend in anything which will drive! Friends are always welcome attending with club members. We are currently planning other events for the Spring and Summer season.

Please note, if you do not wish to take the carvery, it’s not a problem. Please contact me once booked, and I will provide a Seamarge menu of alternatives.
