As well as being Marketing Director Mercedes-Benz Cars in the UK one of the company’s largest global markets, Rob is responsible for creating high-performing advertising campaigns and assets across 18 European countries. Previously, Rob held the post of Communications and Events Director for Mercedes-Benz UK Limited, from April 2012. Before that he was PR Manager Passenger Cars from October 2003, adding vans and trucks to his roster in 2009. Although a qualified automotive engineer, Rob wanted to be a journalist before the heady scent of PR eventually beckoned.Rob became a Trustee of the Brooklands Museum Trust in 2019, and added responsibility for the Mercedes-Benz World brand centre that summer, too.
