History
Owned and dry stored by me since 2013. Apparently, only 5 in the UK.
No history came with the car but it’s condition shows the care that it has received through it’s life.
Featured in Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine in 2010.
Starting
Once started, quickly settles into regular tick-over.
Clutch light and first engages fine, pulls off with no noise or judder.
Pulls well but takes its time. Slows well but due drum brakes.
Interior
The inside is totally un-molested, original and patinated. Few carpet stains.
Body / chassis
Heavy grade steel welded where required under driver’s rear wheel arch and front outriggers.
Polishes up very well. One dent to rear RHS mudguard. The bumpers have been painted.
Sales
I’ve got many other Mercedes including a G Wagon and SL500.
I’ve lost my storage / workshop unit and so this has to go.
I’m not listing a price due to it’s rarity.
Only the buyer will know what it sold for; those who know the value of the car will know it’s worth.
I also want to avoid the “businessmen” who try to bid down in the belief they can make an instant raise.
