Looking for a cherished keeper sought for continental touring

I am looking to purchase a well-sorted, post-1985 facelift 500 SL to join my garage as a long-term weekend treasure. My goal for early next year is to take her on a scenic grand tour through the Swiss Alps down to Italy, so mechanical health and structural integrity are my absolute priorities really but happy to consider a little mechanical work if required.
In Summary:
Model: Ideally a post-1985 facelift 500 SL (with the revised suspension, brakes, and 15" wheels)-or maybe just pre facelift.
condition: A structurally sound car with a verified, rust-free bulkhead/scuttle and solid floors. Mechanically sound.
History: A comprehensive folder of service history and proof of maintenance by specialists or careful owners.
Aesthetics: I am open to colours, but a well-presented interior (ideally leather) and a factory hardtop.
I am a genuine, private enthusiast and club member, funds are fully available to move quickly for the right car it will be dry-stored, well maintained, and cared for.
