Letters seem to be going out of fashion fast but if you have bought a stamp recently you will know they are expensive now – £1.35 , an increase of 50p (62%) since March 2022. With over 7000 members, it is expensive for us to send any documents to Members but we do still send out the Welcome pack by post since it has the windows sticker etc.
Wherever possible, we need to be able to contact members by email which costs us almost nothing. However, the Club does not have email addresses for about 1000 members, could that include you?
Of the addresses we do have, unfortunately only 71% reach their target because;
- The address we have been given is wrong
- It has been miss-typed
- The email address is no longer used
- The mail box is full (often obsolete ones are like this)
- It goes into spam
- It just isn’t opened
We are asking all members to please check the email address we have recorded. You can do this on the Club website at https://mercedes-benz-club.co.uk/my-account/
On the first page you will see in the top right corner a link “Login”. Click this and enter your membership number and password.
If you do not know your membership number, you can use the email you gave when you joined the club. If you do not know your membership number or the email you gave, please contact the Club office@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk or call them on 01780 482111.
If you have forgotten your password, click “Reset Password” and a link will be emailed to you.
If the address shown is correct, but you don’t recall receiving any emails from the club about anything, maybe it is going into your spam or junk email folder?
How to make sure our emails don’t get classed as spam, by your email client
If you find an email from us in your spam folder, you can usually mark it as “not spam” or you can “whitelist” our email address *@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk and both should stop this happening. The solution varies for different email systems so you may need to search the internet for a solution.
If your email shown under “Your Details” is incorrect in any way, please send an email from the account you wish to use to office@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk
Please be assured we will never pass your email on to a third party and if you receive a newsletter from the Club which you do not want, there is an unsubscribe link on every newsletter.
Incidentally, on your “My Account” page, if you scroll right to the bottom of the page, your user name and email you have registered for the Club Forum is shown – might be helpful if you forget…
