Following our very successful visit to Hauser and Wirth in 2024 we have found another modern art gallery willing to welcome a group of petrol heads. CloseLtd is a private gallery at Hatch Beauchamp, not far from Taunton, whose owners are also Classic Car enthusiasts. We discovered when we visited the gallery that they too are RNLI supporters so the event will be a fundraiser for the RNLI. As well as visiting the gallery we shall have the opportunity to display our cars alongside their collection of classics.
The exhibition will be works by Suzanne Blank Redstone. For over 50 years Suzanne has maintained a rigorous artistic practice. From 2015-2022, she was on the roster of the Jessica Silverman Gallery, San Francisco which hosted her first American solo exhibition of the ‘Portal paintings’ in Sept 2016. Suzanne’s work was included in the 2018 Victoria Miro exhibition, ‘Surface Work, 100 years of abstract women’s art’ and also featured in the Stephen Friedman Gallery’s presentation at Frieze Masters 2018. Suzanne is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
Your ticket includes entrance to the exhibition, a light lunch and a donation to the RNLI. There may be other opportunities to contribute to RNLI funds during the day so do bring a bit of loose change…
The ticket price (£15) will include entrance to the exhibition and also a light lunch – please advise any dietary requirements when you book.
