To end our regional events for 2025, we are having an autumnal drive through the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) to the Anglesey Transport Museum. We are meeting at The Tal-y-Cafn pub on the A470 in the Conwy Valley at 10.00am for coffee and or a breakfast.
If you would like a breakfast at The Tal-y-Cafn before our drive, please click on the link below and let me know your choice of breakfast when you book to join us on the event. If you just require a coffee/tea, no pre-order is required.

We will then take the scenic route (as opposed to the A55) down the A470 to the A5 then follow the A5 through Betws-y-Coed, Capel Curig through the Nant Ffrancon pass and Bethesda to the A55 which will take us over the Menai Straits onto Anglesey and the Transport Museum Tacla Taid. The drive is approx. 42 miles and expected to take around 75 minutes from The Tal-y-Cafn.
Entrance to the museum is £10.50 for adults and £6 for children (6-15yrs) which will be payable on the day direct to the museum.
There is a café at the museum where lunches and freshly baked cakes are on offer if you wish to indulge! If you would like a bit to eat at the museum, please let me know as the museum have asked for a rough idea of numbers to ensure they have enough staff on duty on the day, no food pre-order is required.
