Bentley Priory ‘Battle of Britain RAF Museum’ Sat 11th April 2026

> Back to Events

For 2026, the London region is trying out a new location from its usual RAF Hendon event but keeping the same theme ….

On Saturday 11th April from 09:45 it is visiting ‘Bentley Priory in Stanmore west London.

RAF Bentley Priory played a pivotal role during the Battle of Britain as Headquarters Fighter Command.

Before the Air Ministry bought Bentley Priory in 1926, it had been a private home, hotel and girls’ school.

The Museum explores the important Battle of Britain history of Bentley Priory through the stories of  ‘The Few’.

The RAF were Bentley Priory’s longest serving residents, occupying the Mansion House and grounds until they departed in 2008.

So, now you know, go ahead and  book ‘your’ place by clicking the  ‘Book Now’ button plus, why not make a day of it and enjoy a lovely cream tea on the terrace after your tour   :o)

A full ‘Afternoon tea’ can be made available but requires booking well ahead of the event. Should you wish to partake in this option then please email me  for further details.
