Building on the success of a similar event in Warwickshire in 2023 (as pictured), you are invited to come in your Mercedes or any other transport of your choice – so it could have 2, 3 or 4 wheels excepting that a plane would be difficult to accommodate! Although entry is only open to our Club Members, it may be that you have a Morris Minor project you keep meaning to finish, or a sparkling supercar you seldom take out or perhaps you never sold that Lambretta! Every vehicle has a back story, so please come along and share it with others. Arrival time on the day will be from 10.30am.
For a bit of automotive fun we will have a driving challenge laid out in the paddock. Simon and Janet Harrison have very generously agreed to provide free hot beverages, soft drinks and wine, so bring along a picnic and folding chairs, although there will be some fixed tables and chairs in the orchard. Toilets will be available.
We are very pleased to say we are expecting a performance from the St Nicolas Brass Band, and also will be holding a raffle to raise a donation to Action for XP, a charity which helps families coping with Xeroderma Pigmentosum (more items for the raffle table will be much appreciated).
