As a club we have not been to this venue officially for several years as the show wasn’t available, however last year some members attended in a private capacity, but the weather was a bit wet to say the least!!
Anyway, this year we are going as a club and hopefully the weather will be an improvement on last years.
The show is in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle and Gardens on Sunday 21st September and the organisers expect there to be up to 1200 classic cars on display.
Tickets can be purchased from the Classic Shows web page. When you click “Book Now” you will be taken to their web page.
As we will be exhibiting our cars, please book a “Classic Car Exhibitor” ticket which will allow entry for the car, driver and passenger (ie 2 adults). Any additional passengers will need to purchase an advance visitor ticket or an on-the-day visitor ticket. When booking your ticket, please include Mercedes Benz Club in the Classic Shows booking form.
Exhibitors who book by the 31st March 2025 will be charged £5.91 inc Booking Fee (which allows entry for the exhibiting vehicle & up to 2 adults).
Exhibitors who book from 1st April 2025 will be charged £8.06 inc Booking Fee (which allows entry for the exhibiting vehicle & up to 2 adults).
So, to get the discounted ticket price please book before the 31st March 2025.
The show is open to the public between 10am and 4pm, so please can we all be parked up between 9am and 9.45am.
The organisers have requested that no more than 25% of displayed club cars be newer than 2009. I don’t think this will be an issue for us based on previous show attendances, but if your car is newer than 2009, please let me know so I am aware of how many there will be.
