Dalemain Classic car and show billed as the “Cumbria and Motor Sport Show”. This is the signature show for Cumbria and attracts visitors from all areas far and wide. A great day out and frequented yearly by The Mercedes Benz Club. A show not to miss, with an enormous number of things going on and to see.
As usual there is an entrance fee (which is a reduced fee) for club stand attendance and the price is still held at £5.00 per car and occupants. It is essential to complete your details and hit the BOOK NOW button so that I can keep a check on how many and what cars will be attending. This is doubly important as this year the organisers are limiting overall car entrants to 800 for logistical reasons, so booking early is important.
At the same time as booking your attendance you will be directed to pay your £5.00 to the club which will hold monies until needed to be transferred to the organisers along with the formal entrance form that I will complete with the final number of cars attending. When I have informed the organisers of final numbers they will be sending me final instructions for the day and a “mirror hanger” that I will get to you by email for you to print out and use for the day.
With your arrival instructions and the identifier hanging from your car internal mirror you will be ushered and directed at arrival to the MB Club stand area without the need for any further entrance payment which would otherwise apply. The club stand will be set up early by 8am on the day and your arrival for club stand attendance is required by 10.00am before the general public arrivals is opened up around 10.30am.
This event is always held on a well-drained field (the grass is cut for the event) and the weather is nearly always kind to the day of the event. For those of you who have attended before, the organisers have told me that the location of the MB Club area will be the same as in previous years.
