Danny House, located on the outskirts of Hurstpierpoint is a privately owned Grade 1 listed Elizabethan Manor house to which the Mercedes Benz Club is privileged to be invited for a guided tour and lunch.
The present house was built in 1593-95 by George Goring and it was designed in the shape of the letter E to represent Queen Elizabeth 1 of England.
Amongst the past residents of the House is Lloyd George and it was in the Great Hall where Lloyd George met with his cabinet on 13 October 1918 to discuss the terms of the armistice to be given to Germany. His statue is at the front of the House.
