To take a “small plates” (tapas style) luncheon in their Bistro. The basic driving route, starting and finishing at the Chesterton Hotel, with pick up points, is posted on the forum:

A £10pp deposit is required on booking, final amount payable on the day (around £30 p.p. for food).

The day is planned to go something like this:

We will leave the Chesterton Hotel at 09:30 (this will also be the finishing point). We will drive the B4030 to Church Enstone, turn northwards on the B4022 to the first “pick up” point near Wiggington, (20 miles) at 10:05. From there we will continue northwards to pick up the B4035 driving westwards towards and through Shipston on Stour to the second “pick up” point at Chipping Campden (a further 20 miles) at 10:40. Continue on the B4035 to and through Evesham and out on the B4084 towards Pershore. Leave Pershore on the A4104 to the next “pick up” point at Baughton (just after passing over the M5 and a further 22 miles) at 11:20, continue along the A4104 to pick up the A449 (road closure dependant) to Ledbury. B4216 from Ledbury to Dymock, B4215 to the vineyard arriving (hopefully) circa 12:00.

Pick up points will be non stop drive throughs.

Leave the vineyard at 14:30 and drive towards Newent, from Newent to Tewkesbury via Corse, B4211 and the A438. Tewkesbury to (https://www.gwsr.com/) Toddington (26 miles) arriving 15:20 in time to “salute” the 15:36 steam train.

From Toddington we will try to work ourselves a gap in the traffic to get “free air” to be able to drive up Snowshill with a modicum of enthusiasm. B4077 to Stow on the Wold, A424 to Burford, A40 to the roundabout adjacent to the now famous Farmer’s Dog PH. B4047 to Witney followed by the A4095 back to Chesterton. Naturally anyone will be free to “peel off” on the return journey to suit their ultimate destination.
