Early season Sunday lunch.

It’s the time to brush off the winter cobwebs and head into spring with our first event of 2026.

It will be a Sunday lunch on March 1st at The Boathouse on Ormesby Broad. We will meet from 12:00pm. Lunch is booked for 12:30pm sharp. We have been asked to repeat this for 2026 as it was so popular last year.

We have agreed it with the venue to be a pay on the day event, so it’s not complicated by prepayments. Just go to the Club website and book your places. Once you have done this, click the link provided, to the Boathouse menu. Choose your menu options off the Sunday lunch menu and email me your meal choices. I will collate all our meals, supply your meal choices to the venue and I will keep a record of all ordered meals for the day. As the venue is very popular for Sunday Lunches, pre ordering will provide a choice from the full Sunday lunch menu and allow our party to be served as a single service. This is a great location, excellent reasonably priced food, good car parking and level access. Mike the owner is always helpful and very happy to host our club.

The club is taken on trust by the venue. As it’s pay on the day, preordering of our food choices will mean meals are cooked ready for you. If unfortunately you cannot attend, to avoid uneaten meals, please contact me prior to the day.
