Two Coasts post-Christmas Relaxing Weekend Away

Our ‘January Weekend Away’ is now becoming a regular event on our calendar and 2025 is no exception.

As the saying goes: “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, which is why we’re going back to The Belmont Hotel and doing everything the same. Well, not quite, we have a different plan for the Saturday afternoon. Read on………

The format will be as last time, that is to say, meet at the Hotel on the Friday in time for pre-dinner drinks followed by dinner, Saturday morning at leisure, on Saturday afternoon we will have a live culinary demonstration by the Victoria Hotel’s executive chef, Saturday evening will be a (optional) black tie dinner starting with a fizz reception before moving on to dinner. The Weekend finishes after breakfast on Sunday although anyone who wishes can book in for Sunday lunch and stay Sunday evening at our group rates.

The Belmont Hotel has put its rates up by £10 per person per night, which is about what we expected, but it is still great value for what we get. They have also reserved the whole hotel for our exclusive use.

Our group rates are:

* Belmont Standard Double Room £95 per person, per night

* Superior Room £105 per person, per night

* Deluxe Sea View Room £115 per person, per night

This price is inclusive of dinner, bed and breakfast, and the culinary demonstration.

Please note that the Hotel will also collect an extra one-off £5 per person to cover the Saturday night fizz reception.

You can stay for just Saturday, Friday and Saturday, and add the Sunday night as well if you wish to stay longer.
