M-Sport’s nerve center is Dovenby Hall, a former hospital that enjoys an idyllic setting in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside. The site has been extensively renovated and the old manor house now sits next to a state-of-the-art car and engine design, development and build workshop, and a test track.
Operating a flourishing global motorsport business, M-Sport has quickly become an industry leader with its state-of-the-art facilities and winning performances around the globe. Originally supporting Ford in the World Rally Championship (WRC) it is also supporting Bentley Motors in the design and development of the luxury manufacturer’s Continental GT3 racing cars and in 2018 also entered the world of electric motorsport as Jaguar’s technical partner in the I‑PACE eTROPHY. Additionally, M-Sport supplies engines for the TOCA British Touring Car Championship and the Ford Mustang GT3 for prestigious events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Daytona.
So an awful lot to take in and look around when we go on tour at this modern motoring facility in the heart of Cumbria. If you want to read up and look at more M Sport information then have a look at their website https://www.m-sport.co.uk

You need to make your way to Dovenby Hall just off the A594 near Cockermouth, Cumbria, CA13 0PN in suitable time to be parked up and ready to start the tour at 5.30pm. When turning into the M Sport grounds you may be stopped at the security perimeter, and you should confirm that you are with the Mercedes Benz Club tour of the facility. There is however a tour size limit of 25 so it will be first 25 booked who get on this tour event. If more than that are booked I will get back to those of you beyond the first 25 booked and seek to arrange a second tour opportunity at another time if you so wish and the excess numbers enable it.
During your visit, you will have the chance to admire the Dovenby Hall Estate and explore the impressive trophy collections displayed in the boardroom. Additionally, you will get to tour the state-of-the-art workshop and catch a glimpse of the M-Sport cars displayed in the showroom, alongside the memorabilia featured in the museum. Overall you will get an in-depth behind-the-scenes tour of M-Sport’s facilities, gaining insights not only into the current projects but also into the rich history of Dovenby Hall. With the guidance of an expert tour guide, feel free to ask as many questions as you would like, ensuring you have a fully immersive and informative experience.
