MBC Kent – An Evening with Scenic Car Tours

The Mercedes-Benz Club Kent Region is delighted to welcome Kieron Line, Senior Group Liaison Manager at Scenic Car Tours, for a special evening looking at the pleasures and practicalities of European car touring.

For many Mercedes-Benz owners, one of the great attractions of our cars is their ability to cover long distances comfortably and make the journey every bit as enjoyable as the destination.

Whether you are an experienced European tourer or have always wanted to take your Mercedes further afield but have yet to take the plunge, this evening is designed to provide inspiration, practical advice and an opportunity to ask questions.

What will the evening cover?

Kieron will give a presentation covering:

An introduction to Scenic Car Tours and their sister brand, Backwater Car Tours
The pleasures of European car touring
How organised car tours work
What members can expect when joining a tour
Advice for first-time European tourers
Interesting destinations, routes and touring experiences
Practical considerations when taking your Mercedes abroad

Following the presentation, there will be coffee and cake, together with an informal question-and-answer session and an opportunity for members to discuss particular aspects of European touring.

Scenic Car Tours is also hoping to have additional members of its team present to help answer members’ questions.

What would you like to know?

Members are encouraged to submit questions or topics in advance.

These might include route planning, hotels, ferries and crossings, breakdown cover, insurance, driving regulations, travelling in groups, suitable destinations or simply what to expect if you have never undertaken an organised European car tour before.

Advance questions will help Kieron tailor his presentation to the interests of MBC members.

Dinner afterwards – 8.00pm

For members who would like to continue the conversation, we are also planning an informal group meal nearby at 8.00pm following the meeting.
