Oxford Bus Museum is in the heart of our region, yet we’ve never visited! However, we’re going to rectify that on Sunday 19th April on what should be a fun spring day.
The Oxford Bus Museum is run by enthusiastic volunteers and has gradually expanded to a collection of over 40 buses, dating back to 1913.
For our visit, the Museum is welcoming us with free admission for a car and 2 occupants, and laying on a bus ride for us around the local roads.
Arrive around 1045 for a meet-up chat and coffee in the Museum café. There’s then time to walk around the museum, which includes Morris cars and historic bikes, before taking the bus ride at 1215. After that excitment, we’ll adjorn to a local pub for a social lunch. Anyone who would like to will then be able to return to the Museum for as long as they wish.
Though tickets are free, please book them here so that we can notify the museum and pub of how many people we’ll have coming and ensure sufficient parking, etc.
