Heyford Park and Divine Auto Restorations Sunday July 2025
We will be driving our own cars on a guided tour of the former RAF cold war air base between locations of interest. The tour duration of 3-4 hours will be dictated by how many questions are asked, how much time is needed for photography and (with convoy tours) time spent parking up and getting in & out of vehicles. The tour guides are volunteers. Preceding the tour there will be an administration sign-in from 09:00, tour to start no later than 10:00, a 17 minutes history film and a comfort break; there is a lack of facilities on the Flying Field.

There are a number of businesses trading, on what is now known as Heyford Park, from within some of the pre war buildings, many, if not all, are listed.
One of those businesses is Divine Auto Restorations which is a small upmarket restoration business and the owner of the business has agreed to talk us through what they do generally and the vehicles they are working on at the time. The Heritage Tour will terminate at the premises of Divine Auto Restorations
