'Ponton Rally' Friedrichshafen, Germany June 2025

The M.B.I.G (Mercedes-Benz Interessen Gemeinschaft) who are a classic based German Mercedes-Benz club, have once again invited us to join them on their ‘Ponton Rally’ event in June 2025 which takes place each year.

For 2025 the location is the wonderful area around Lake Konstanz which is on the borders of Germany, Austria and Switzerland staying in the lovely German lakeside town of ‘Friedrichshafen‘, the home of the Graf Zeppelin airships and the Hindenburg.

This area is an absolute ‘gem location’ with glorious scenery both on and around Lake Konstanz itself and all it’s surrounding areas plus, with so many things to do you will be hard pressed to get it all in!

There are, at the time of posting, no details available just yet as to the cost or hotels at this stage as I am awaiting the English translation to arrive however, should you have an interest in finding out more or to register for a copy of the information pack please contact me at:-

Last years event at ‘Bad Soden’ attracted around 200+ classic Mercedes-Benz from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s but you DO NOT have to own or attend in a Mercedes Ponton to come nor own a ‘classic’ variant so why not see what its all about, and contact me via email.

Accessibility information

You will be required to arrange and pay for your own channel crossing and also to book and pay for your own accommodation, which can normally be selected from the list of involved hotels included with your initial registration pack. You make your own way to the location where you register. The rest of the weekend event instructions, times and locations etc will be in the registration pack handed to you upon arrival. Dogs are normally fine (may be an extra cost) but please check the info pack when it's sent to you as locations and hotels differ. NO monies are collected by our club for this event as all payments are made directly to the MBIG in Germany.
