In summary

The tour will start in Poperinge, Belgium over pre-dinner drinks Friday 12 September 2025; or somewhere else between Calais and Cologne. The finish of the Tour would be in The Hague, Netherlands after breakfast Sunday 21 September 2025. There would be no two night stops.

Day 1. The Plan would be to to leave Poperinge and blast the “m’ways” to Cologne…Cologne to Bingen driving the Romantic Rhine Route whilst overnighting in one of the castle hotels, between Cologne and Bingen, that sit high above the Rhine.

Day 2. Drive the remaining part of the Romantic Rhine Route and pick up the Avenue Route going south, incorporating the German Wine Route, to Konstanz.

Day 3. Circumnavigate Lake Constance to pick up the Alpine Road at Lindau before turning north at Füssen on the Romantic Route for an overnight stop near Nördlingen.

Day 4. Continue north on the Romantic Route to Würzburg before picking up the northern part of the Avenue Route and driving further “north” for an overnight stop near the ancient city of Erfurt.

Day 5. Continue northwards along the Avenue Route and overnight near Linthe.

Day 6. Continue further along the Avenue Route to the island of Rügen and possibly visit Jasmund…overnight in Stralsund.

Day 7. Drive the Baltic coast, much of it UNESCO, as far as Lübeck before blasting it on the autobahn to Bremen for the next overnight stop. I think it would be difficult to find time to fit in a tour of the production facility that was the birth place of the R230.

Day 8. Autobahn in the morning to visit the Louwman Museum in the Hague during the afternoon. Grand Finale overnight in the Hague before dispersing after breakfast next day.
