RAF Museum Hendon - Sunday 6th April 2025

By popular demand we will be returning the RAF Museum at Hendon for our first major car-based event for 2025. Those members who have attended before will know about all the attractions at this amazing museum, but for those who haven’t, the RAF Museum Hendon boasts many, many historic aircraft, interactive experiences and an aviation themed outdoor playground, which all makes for a fun, great value family day out. The museum comprises six hangars containing aircraft, a coffee shop [Sunderland Café] and a large restaurant [Hendon Kitchen], so there is plenty to see and do. The car park is very generous too, which enables us to park up ‘display style’ which is always great to see. Last year we had around 30 cars on display from almost all the post-war series, so we are hoping for another strong turnout this year. Please note the museum is within the expanded ULEZ zone.
Entry to the museum is FREE but you do need to pay for parking as you leave (ANPR system in operation). In addition, there are a number of “experiences” which can be booked in advance. More details of these can be found on the museum website https://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/ The parking costs £7.50 for 0-3 hours and £10.00 for 3-6 hours. Please Note: Blue Badge Holders must also pay to park. Use postcode NW9 5QW for your SatNav.
The museum is open from 10.00am until 5.00pm but if you would like to park up with fellow Club members, please aim to arrive from 9.30am when we should have the car park largely to ourselves. Accessibility information

There are wide aisles in the hangars ensuring access for pushchairs and wheelchairs is very easy. A limited number of manual wheelchairs and motor scooters (weather permitting) are available for loan on site. These are available on a first come first served basis at the Check-In desk on arrival in Hangar 1.
