Next year we will be visiting the Peak District. As it is a 3 hourish run, (from the centre of our region) I thought 3 nights rather than 2.
I Have found an excellent venue for our stay, namely the Hollin House Hotel, which has plenty of parking and around 50 odd rooms.
I have provisionally secured 10 double rooms, 5 standard and 5 superior. The deal is £72 for the standard per person per night, and £81 for the superior. In both cases this is based upon 2 people sharing a room with full board inclusive of a 3 course evening meal. You can view the hotel at www.hollinhousehotel.co.uk. Each couple would be responsible for payment of their room upon arrival.
The itinerary is sketchy right now but would include visits to Bakewell (to check out the tarts), Buxton, Chatsworth house, Derwent Dams…etc… leaving after breakfast for home after the 3rd night would give everyone a comfortable no rush journey back.
