This show has proved to be a popular with members from adjoining regions as well as our own due to its location in the south of our region, hence our return. This show is in the village of Longden, south of Shrewsbury, and this year is the shows 10th Anniversary and is being held in memory of its co-founder who has sadly passed away.
Over the years this event has grown and become a popular event with a wide range of vehicles from other car clubs and individual entries. Last year they had approximately 400 vehicles from motor bikes, cars, tractors and trucks.
To keep everyone entertained (not everyone likes to admire cars…..sadly!), a vintage tearoom will have hot snacks, tea and coffee, and in later in the day, afternoon tea will be available. There will be trade stalls, live music from local groups “The Ronnies” and “Sparky and Sprite”, and the Shrewsbury Concert Band.
Entry for show cars is from 9.30am and the entrance fee is £5 per car, payable on the gate with all monies going to local hospices and charities. The show opens to the public at 10.00am.
Why not come along and have a great day with the family, and dogs are welcome as well.
