We have arranged a tour of this historic building to include the Main Hall, medieval Courtyard, Dining Room (Study), Parlour, Crypt, medieval stairwell to 1st floor for all historic rooms and main Exhibition Room (Victorian and Edwardian fashion and accessories). The tour will take up to 2 hrs with optional walk across to the church.
The upper floor is not viable for anyone with mobility issues, same applies to the medieval spiral staircase, but the Georgian staircase is less challenging.
We will be starting the day with lunch (optional) at The Southwick Shuckburgh Arms, which is part of the estate (5min walk), at 12:30pm with the tour starting at 2.30pm.
The cost of this tour will be £17 per person which includes Tea/coffee & biscuits and exclusive parking in front of hall. The Gardens & Grounds are free to wander at leisure.
In order to secure your place, full pre-payment of £17 per person is required to be made via the MB Club website ‘EVENTS’ page. The deadline for payment is Saturday 20th April 2024.
