The Great ‘CLK Weekend’ Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th July 2025
The CLK’s are having another weekend away this time in July next year in the north of England at County Durham and all CLK owners are invited to join us.
We will be meeting during the morning of Saturday 5th July at the 4 star Redworth Hall Hotel, in County Durham
We will enjoy a specially prepared scenic drive together around the Northumberland National Park area and have lunch at our leisure on route to Hadrian’s Wall before returning later to the hotel for an ‘informal’ dinner, drinks and conversation together.
After dinner there is to be a fun filled ‘RACE NIGHT EVENT’ where you could become a paper millionaire if you place your bets correctly!
On Sunday 6th July, after breakfast, we will take a short drive to the fabulous privately owned Raby Castle.
We will have the whole day to enjoy this spectacular castle, the gardens and its grounds and I have arranged ‘special priority parking’ for the CLK’s within the castles walled terrace area, plus, there is to be an ‘inclusive cream tea’ for us during the afternoon.
There are two price choices for Raby Castle:-

There is access to all locations for those less able or who require some assistance but some upper parts of the castle may not be assessable as there is no lift.
Well behaved ‘dogs on leads’ are welcome everywhere ‘accept’ within the castle itself.
This event has been planned to take place over an entire weekend but you are of course free to attend any part of it as you wish.
For those people travelling a distance and not wishing to just stay for the Saturday night the option to also stay at the hotel on either the Friday 4th July or Sunday 6th July or both is also available.

The castle is set adjacent to some of it's auxiliary facilities such as the restaurant, cafes, castle shop and the 'general' car park so as such a short walk may be required to access some of these locations. There is access everywhere for those less able or who require some assistance but some upper parts of the castle may not be assessable as there is no lift. ** At Redworth Hall Hotel...well behaved 'dogs on leads' are welcome but there are only 3 rooms available that take dogs so please don't delay should you wish to bring your 4 legged friend** ** At Raby castle......well behaved 'dogs on leads' are welcome everywhere 'accept' within the castle itself**
