TWO COASTS CHRISTMAS LUNCH – SUNDAY 7th DECEMBER, 2025 at The Devon Hotel, Old Matford Lane, Exeter EX2 8XU (1:00pm sitting)

We shall be returning to an old favourite, Carriages Restaurant at The Devon Hotel, once again for our Christmas Lunch.

This hotel has recently demerged from The Brend Group, a well-known local group who also manage The Belmont Hotel in Sidmouth where we have our post-Christmas Weekend Away, we will give them a try and hope there is no impact on quality.

As last year, we will be seated upstairs in the Victoria Suite, which has the advantage of giving us a private room, although we will have to go downstairs to collect our carvery. We’ve asked them to make sure they have plenty of staff available to carry plates upstairs for those of us who cannot manage stairs so well, they also have a lift. Desserts and teas or coffees will be served in the room.

The cost for a 2-course Carvery lunch with dessert is £21.00 per person. If a tea or coffee is required after the meal then this will cost an additional £3.50 per person.

Bookings are now open, payment is required with your booking however we envisage being able to obtain a refund if enough notice is given of any later cancellation.

We have asked for a lunch sitting at 1:00pm, however this is subject to confirmation and we will advise nearer the time.
