We have organised a private tour of the Chilterns Brewery near Aylesbury. The Brewery was founded in 1980 by Richard and Lesley Jenkinson and is now run by their two sons, George and Tom. It is the oldest independent brewery in the Chiltern Hills and Buckinghamshire.
The tour starts with a welcome, a complimentary drink and a lively introductory talk. The group is then taken on a tour of the Brewhouse & new Fermenting Barn and the processes explained on the way. There is time for further sampling and discussion and the full range of brewery chandlery is available in the shop. The tour takes approximately 1¼ hours to 1 ½ hours. This includes about 45-60 minutes of walking and standing for the tour section and about 20 mins for the tutored tasting section afterwards.
For those wishing to stay on for lunch at the Kings Head Market Square Aylesbury HP20 2RW, run by the Chilterns Brewery, please let us know in the free text when booking
