Visit to Mercedes-Benz of Exeter

VISIT TO MERCEDES-BENZ of EXETER (Marsh Barton, EX2 8FD)

Following our very successful visit to Mercedes-Benz of Exeter last November, they have very kindly offered us another visit. This time, the emphasis will be on the more traditional models and we’re hoping to get one car up on their ramp for a technician to look at and give a commentary on what he sees. We may also be lucky enough to get one or two cars through their wheel alignment bay to show us how this is actually done. And if that wasn’t enough, we may also be offered a drive in one of their EQ range cars. A very interesting visit indeed is being lined up here.

Numbers will be limited so it is essential that you book to reserve your place. We also need to have a few cars on stand-by to be the subject of their demonstrations, ideally we’re looking for a couple of older SL’s (R107 or 129 series) to go up on their ramp and also an older W123 or 124 for their wheel alignment bay, although any classic would do. If you have one of these cars and would be willing for it to be used as the demo car(s), please let us know.

This visit will be in the morning so we’ll go on somewhere for lunch afterwards, but not to The Twisted Oak as it got a mixed reaction when we were there last year. If you would like us to look at a particular venue, then let us know and we’ll check it out.
