We will be arranging a visit to Shuttleworth on Saturday 6th July from 10a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parking will be arranged for Club members’ cars to be parked in front of the hangars. Entrance fee is £10 per car payable when booking and this includes access to the Shuttleworth Collection and the Swiss Gardens with the ability to return with 30 days to finish off everything that you couldn’t fit in in the day excluding air shows and specific event days.
Bring a picnic or head to the Runway Café where they have an ever changing, seasonal menu, using local suppliers and food is cooked fresh to order. They have daily specials, a wide variety of cakes and pastries and of course, deliciously fresh coffee! On busy summer days, there are catering pods and bars, which are located in various locations across the site where you can buy small snacks and even more coffee!
As a special treat, as well as the above, we will have a talk on the Lysander SOE by Jim Davies and a demonstration of the Bofor Gun.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcomed in the airfield paddocks and parkland and Discovery Hub. BUT are not permitted indoors in the Hangars, Café or House OR outdoors in the Swiss Garden or playground. There is the Discovery Hub joining the Cafe where dogs are welcmed and a dog walking route around the perimeter of the Swiss Garden.
