Wilton House is located in Wilton, near Salisbury. This historic building was once a nunnery and became famous for its choice of HQ where the planning of Operation Overlord in WW2 took place.
We will be leaving The Kings Arms, Melksham at approx midday, following our monthly coffee meet. Travelling time is expected within an hour.
The House itself is currently closed, but we will be welcome in the surrounding gardens and to admire the Earl of Pembroke’s collection of classic cars.
The on site cafe will be open for snacks or light lunches (tba)
Admission is approx £8.50 per person, payable on site.
