W123 Day

The Mercedes-Benz-Club are holding two National events in 2026 at two different locations.

The ‘Northern’ event will be at the magnificent original ‘family house’ which is Wentworth Woodhouse, in Wentworth Village, Yorkshire South, S62 7TQ and where we will also be celebrating all things W123 along with the northern half of the SL+SLK Day and all members of the club are welcome.

(Remember, you can attend in ‘any’ model Mercedes)

Originally the seat of the Fitzwilliam’s one of England’s wealthiest families, the house built in the 18th century is now one of the largest privately owned homes in Europe. It has 365 rooms, five miles of underground passages, the longest frontage in the UK, a stable block as large as many houses, all set in magnificent ornamental gardens, surrounded by the 150-acre Wentworth parkland estate.

The event is held on the magnificent rear lawn by kind permission of its current owners the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust.

Over the last 15 or so years ‘Yorkshire-South’ have attended the show which has attracted some 500 cars, commercial vehicles, and trade stands each year. Over the years The Wentworth Woodhouse Gala and Classic Car Rally became the Yorkshire-South Region’s premier event attracting some 30 to 50 cars of the Mercedes marque and MBC members, frequently winning best club stand in show, being invited to parade in the show ring and have their cars photographed in front of the magnificent house.

This National event in our northern region promises to be an excellent day for our members especially for our beloved w123’s along with other model register marques. It is not surprising therefore that it has been chosen to host our W123 day.

We will have a dedicated area to present our beloved W123’s along with other model registers of the MB marque.

The event will include club Marquees to help present the Mercedes Benz Club at its best and where we can take refreshments on the day which will follow our traditional format established over the last few years.

Buying your ticket before the end of March gives a discounted rate of just £6 incl the car, driver and 1 x passenger. All extra passengers will need to buy a standard ‘ADULT ADMISSION’ ticket at £12

Tickets for a car, driver and 1 passenger ‘after’ March 31st will cost £8 each
