The London region has arranged for members to visit the ‘hidden gem‘ that is the Whitewebbs Transport Museum, in Enfield north London on SUNDAY 27th JULY 2025 from 10.00am
The museum is housed in a Victorian water pumping station built in 1898 and is owned and operated by the Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Trust, and run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers.
The Museum’s vast and eclectic collection of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and social history ephemera is housed over 4 floors in the main building and in a range of outbuildings including a purpose-built Fire Station, vehicle hall, autojumble shop, workshops and a stationary engine room.
They also have a 1961 railway carriage housing working model railway displays, hosted by The Enfield Whitewebbs Railway Modellers Club.
As car club members we have been given a special entry rate of only £6 per car and 1 x passenger against the usual museum entry fee of £12 so if you ever wanted to visit this museum, now is the time to do it!
There is an onsite café for refreshments after your visit.
The museum has asked that if possible that we remain for a couple of hours so as to give the public a chance to see ‘OUR’ cars as well as we will also be part of the museums outdoor vehicle exhibition on that day :0)
Although you can ‘book’ your place here you will PAY AT THE VENUE UPON ARRIVAL
