Vote by the Membership for Directors – The Result
The vote closed on 5th January 2023 at noon. The Club’s accountants, MJ Emery, were asked to count and validate the votes cast by the membership for the election of Club directors for the substantive board. Their results are as follows.
In total there were 1385 voting forms completed. Some were removed from the count for the reasons shown.
The number of paid-up members at 5th January 2023 was 8201 and so the turn out was 16.9% which reduced to 15.3% when invalid votes were removed. This turn out is good for a car club.
The results for each candidate were as follows;

Thank you for your patience with this process. The next stage is that the eight successful candidates from the ballot will go forward as the proposed Substantive Board to the AGM on the 15th January, where a vote will be taken to install them as the new Board.
