Why not come for the weekend and explore the ancient streets of York that will be decked out ready for Christmas where you can enjoy some mulled wine whist discovering all that this city has to offer at this time of year.
Our hotel is an excellent base for the heart of York and right next to the railway where you can arrive and not have to worry about parking although parking is negotiated should you wish to drive anyway.
There is so much to do in York that you will run out of time before you do experiences.
Our final ‘hurrah’ for the clubs 70 th anniversary year starts at around 18:00 (tbc) at the Principle hotel where we meet for drinks before you discover our special ‘winter’ themed dining room.
A full dinner is on offer followed by a final 70 th anniversary raffle before we move on to dancing to the ever popular music of ABBA courtesy of ‘Revival’ (see https://www.abbarevival.co.uk/ for more information) whom we were extremely lucky to have joining us for the night out from their packed touring schedule.
Following on from this, towards the end of our night we will enjoy a bespoke firework display to officially close our 70th year and see it out with a bang, literally!
