Renewing your Club membership

The renewal process now works like this

All renewals are currently at the end of the month in which you joined.

If you have a direct debit set up, the office will write to you (by post) a couple of weeks before your membership expiry to advise of the date of the direct debit and amount, enclosing a window sticker. You will not get any reminder emails since you have already have a direct debit set up.

If you do not have direct debit set up, the website will send an email to the address you have advised, on the 1st and 14th of the month in which your membership ends (at the end of that month). The email will invite you to renew either on-line or by calling the office. If you do not renew, the office will write to you at the end of the month to advise your membership has expired.
If you renew by whatever means, the office will then write to you confirming your new year’s membership and enclose your window sticker.

In your final month, there will be a message on the website when you login, that your membership is due for renewal.

Email delivery
We currently can only reach 60% of members by email due to incorrect or missing addresses, some going to spam and some simply not opened. Gmail and Yahoo and some other email providers have recently introduced authentication changes which have made automated emails more difficult to program but we are working around these. To reduce the chances of our emails being treated as spam by your email client, please whitelist our address *@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk

Direct debit
To be sure of getting the benefits of Club membership without interruption, can we ask that you setup a direct debit with the office? That way you won’t forget to renew and you get all the safeguards provided by the Direct Debit Guarantee i.e. you can cancel at any time and you will be advised if there is a change in price from the previous year.

We need to get many more members using Direct Debit as the expiry/ contact/ remembering/ doing process is fraught with hurdles so here is a copy of the direct debit form you can download and use. It will be effective from your next renewal-
