Direct Debits for Membership Subscriptions Please!

Please Help!

Every month the office receives some phone calls along the lines of “My Gazette hasn’t been delivered”.  On checking the Club’s database it transpires that the person’s membership has lapsed.  They have simply forgotten to renew it.

We all lead busy lives and remembering to go on-line via the Club’s website to make a renewal payment or calling the office to pay over the phone, simply gets forgotten.

This regular cycle makes more work for the office, chasing up, sending out “Final Notice” letters etc. which costs the Club additional postage and time.

There is an easier way…

We are asking all Club members to please set up a direct debit with us.  The Direct Debit Guarantee ensures that you remain in control.

And so

  • The Club will tell you in advance that we will take a payment and how much it will be
  • You can cancel it at any time with us or via your Bank/Building society
  • It can take effect from your next renewal without any interruption in your membership

To set up a direct debit, send us an email and we will send you the correct form to complete and send back to us or scan and send it by email to office@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk  , or you can download a fillable form from our website.   You can find it under Club/Club Documents/Joining & Renewing.  There are 3 versions for UK, Republic of Ireland and Overseas.

If you currently pay by Standing Order, please note that the Club will soon be stopping these as a means of paying renewals and we will be asking members to switch to Direct Debit. We will write to the members this affects.
